Hello everyone!

I've recently been searching for place where I could share my love for vintage and my collections and I hope this forum will help me do just that.

I'm an amateur photographer and writer who is also still a student.

For the past few years I've been collecting old photographs and other paper ephemera. I particularly like to collect photos of every day people, and photos with some kind of writing or labeling to identify who is who and what is going on in the photo. Sometimes I make up short stories about the photos or try to research who it might have originally belonged to.

I collect photos of men, women and children in Navy uniforms as well as Navy ships and subs.
In this genre I very much like ships and subs in 'dazzle paint' (camouflage).
I especially like yard longs of Navy ships and sailors.
