Silver Christening Cup

    I have a silver christening cup that I want to sell on ebay and was wondering if anyone could help me with its value. The cup says "Rella" (I think), March 31st, 1866. The only other numbers on it is a 96 on the bottom. Any thoughts? Thanks!

    Welcome! The limit for attachment file size is 1 MB. Resize your picture (600x800 pixels should do it and still be large enough for us to see) and try again.

    If it's only silver plate, then the value is likely to drop significantly in my opinion.

    Ah, now that there are pictures, I see we have no picture of the bottom. Not that I disbelieve that the 96 is all there is, but sometimes there are other things to see.

    Sort of. But only in the most general sense. Not to mention that the first one is fully marked as British sterling and the second is not - or at least not from what jfred has told us so far.

    I don't think it's silver. That being the case what you could get for it is probably under $100.
