Terry - me too! Meaning, I buy a lot of those work/student type of pendants. The bad side is they tend to pile up in inventory like everything else! Last week I went through a collection I nabbed at a flea market that had some GF and sterling ones in it and thought... these are neat, why don't I list these? And then back away they went. I must have meant list later. :hilarious:

I had a pretty fun day last week at our local thrift and was going to post pics, but everything still had the tags on it. I know some folks don't like the tags showing and decided against it. I nabbed some Heath Pottery (first time!), a sweet antique Eiffel Tower item (I noticed this has a small piece of old paper stuffed inside... could it be the date the person/couple went to Paris?), two different partial sets of older Harlequin dishes, several modern items for the bay/antique mall and some Red Cliff Heirloom Ironstone in NM shape. Red Cliff always sells. It is a little low right now, but we will see what happens. :shame:

Have a fun Fall pickin' weekend, ya'll!

I'm actually NOT removing the note to read it :angelic:

I thought it would be neat to leave it exactly as-is for the new buyer. The piece has some old dust webs on the base but I think I better clean those off. Anyways, I thought the paper may or may not have something on it and if so, how neat for the new owner to discover it. I'll reference it when I list it.

You would think I would be tempted, but I'm OK.... the only things that really tempt me are thrift stores and chocolate cake. I'm in real trouble when a bakery is next to a Goodwill.

Here's a piece I've had for a long time, but I'm giving it away tomorrow as a birthday gift so I thought I should take some pictures first. Rosenthal bowl (11 1/2") decorated with chrysanthemums:

The first is my favorite find of a the day from a church white elephant room - cost 25 cents. The second is a "where the heck did I find this" that was hiding in a brown paper bag in my own house. It's signed, Mexican sterling, with turquoise. It's signed Jono piecpa negra Taxco, 925 etc. No clue who/what Jono was

I got these at the auction Friday night. A matching Czechoslovakian perfume bottle dauber & atomizer set. They are considered miniature as the dauber bottle is only 3 7/8" to the top of the stopper & the atomizer is only 1 7/8" to the top of the hardware. They have already joined all of their cousins in the curio cabinet.:smuggrin::smuggrin::smuggrin::smuggrin:

Here are some items from a recent trip. Horton, though very far from perfect, should have quite a good value. The off kilter photos were turned by the system here... :p
The 5 S&P sets are for a friend though I may sell the Tikis.
The gauges are essentially new old stock back to the 70s at least. I may or may not use them in my '69 Chevy truck.
The tool is an unknown but will surely be handy for something.
