I picked this up yesterday for $1 - the dealer selling it said it was stainless steel and glass. I got it home - it's stamped 925. I think the stone might be tigers eye helidor.

I think the setting is pretty unusual. Has anyone ever seen something similar? Do you think it's manufactured or artisan made?

The stone looks more like bleached tigereye and would need to be tested as helidor is much more expensive.

I was going to say fiber optic glass or catseye glass rather than stone.

I agree. Not tiger's eye for sure. Fibre optic. Nice modern design.

    Thank you all.
I think the "stone" looks delicious. Unfortunately, due to my arthritis, my ring wearing days are over.

The stone looks like golden selenite.

It could be apatite or a number of "cats eye" stones, only testing can tell you what it is.
