My friend had a dream I had a couch farm, where friends could drop off their sofas while out of town, kind of like doggy daycare, but with couches. Lol

Then there's umpteen lamps I've rescued - in no rush to rehome them :)

What state are you in that you are out and about?

That is hilarious! Just recalled there’s a few more lamps hiding in storage.

I wouldn’t say that I’m out and about. Bills need to be paid though so I'm very cautiously buying and selling to keep the heat on. I predict I will lose at least 25% of my annual income from “traditional” work due to this at minimum. The bills aren’t going to stop coming though so careful transactions are a must for me.

From what you said, I had the impression you were still out shopping.
    That's why I asked.

I found an image that is similar to what came to mind when I first looked at the warrior on your very now popular lamp. Like I had said, it just seemed like a different sort of character to me. Not bad, not good. I think the color is great, but, again, that is from a person that likes details and colors.
This idea is SO yesterday though, so forget it.

    On the sofa, of course!

Then there are those you have to leave behind :(

Like the one you see walking home from the bus in the dark and it's starting to sprinkle...

Oh no! If I had a hazmat suit I would be wearing that too. I’m mostly hiding in my house.

So two days ago lol! Thanks for sharing your vision. I kinda sorta maybe see what you’re saying. The ones on the lamp def aren’t what you see every day. A detailed and stylized account. So I asked for a few more photos from the seller and I guess they just didn’t want to deal with the realities of selling something online, especially in the age of Corona. They just totally ignored my message. So I haven’t heard back at all in about two days.

that’s definitely me. Outside of those transactions I mentioned, a couple takeout purchases, passersby while walking, grocery shopping, and the people in my house I haven’t interacted with anyone or gone anywhere.

The crest on the sleeves of the Samurai is of the Kobayakawa Clan, which is a well known samurai clan that descended from the very influential Taira Clan of the Heian period

As a follow up I really liked this lamp. I did want it for myself kind of. What I’ll usually do is buy it and list it for crazy money in that case and I’ll win either way. I just didn’t need another lamp though. I watched it online locally and he kept reducing the price and it just stayed there without any buyers for quite a while. Nothing was going to change if I was the one selling it instead of him so I just left it and I think it probably finally sold for like $25 or so if I recall. Too bad, very cool lamp and such a unique look. It was one I had to stay disciplined on though.
