This was a bit of an unknown, is a 90's piece for the Disney company. I guess supposed to be a mock version of the watch from the Dick Tracy movie. Already have it listed on Ebay. I don't know if people collect these or not, but putting it out there on auction with an opening bid of $50. If no takers at least I have that bench mark and will relist as a BIN w/offers.

Was the title a typo, Lucille? Looks like Gell and not Dell to me.

Yes, meant "Gell". Luckily have it right on the Ebay auction. Thanks for catching that!

It's really too bad this site does not allow editing thread titles (except by mods.)

Yes, thanks to all for the links. I saw a few similar before I listed it on Ebay. That's the only way I knew what the heck it was supposed to be, having never seen the Dick Tracy movie. (It was a "bit of an unknown" when I purchased it though, that's for sure.)

Interesting to see the links. In my search I only saw one just like this, not a solid gold tone.

I don't think the movie was all that popular, but you never know. Some of Wendy Gells Disney items to sell pretty well on Ebay, so finger's crossed. Thanks!

Cracking up on this one. Good luck with your auction. I knew Wendy in the 70s and remember when she was making clips that could be used to hold any number of things (including those that were burned) with miniature doll parts and rhinestones. Had no idea she created such an amazing empire until I looked her up after reading this post.
