I just wanted to show you guys this sweet watch I got from eBay.
I love guilloche enameling. This was a great price at $42.00
The bow is .900 and the case is .800 silver, Swiss, with the grouse mark.
    Brand name is Fauvette.

    Oh delicious :hungry:

I love enamel especially guilloché! How lucky to have scored it for that amount.

Yes! I have several antique guilloche watches, so I'm always looking for more....
This one's my favorite. Goodwill $24.00. I had the top loop repaired since this photo was taken.

Fauvette. one of the many names used by Albert Didisheim & Frères from La Chaux-de-Fonds; name registered 1893.
name also used by Hipp, Didisheim & Bros. New York (registrerd first of sept. 1927) as Import name.
in those years many branches founded by European companies to circumvent taxes and tariffs by delivering parts only that were assembled statesside.

That’s beautiful. I love enamelling like this.
You have answered a question for me though as I have one of the enamel bows with a clip on it and didn’t know what it was for- now I do!.

Thanks for that information! I was having trouble finding anything about Fauvette on the internet.
I have the Champ watch shown above, and also one called L'Aiglon, and information is sparse on all these names.

will have a look lateron. first something for the body and then one of my "terrible" powernaps.

Here is the L'Aiglon watch. Like you have said, @Fid, cases and movements were assembled separately, so it's a little confusing to research!

CHAMP is used by several makers. I suspect Louis Muller from Biel/Bienne; they were known to make small models. can you open it ? maybe we are surprised and it's an Omega by US Agency Omega Watch Co. NY, registered 13th of Feb. 1923.

L'Aiglon is most probably one of the many Invicta brands.
