My Mom who will be 100 Novemeber 30 this year recently had to be placed in a nursing home after living with just family help for over 70 years in her home .
She was old school with so many (god forgive me for my description) treasured nicknacks. It hard for me to be cleaning up and know the value and I know people know that. Its not the money as much as these were cherished possessions. I just sold a waterford mint condition large flower vase that was 40 years old for $25.00 Thank God my mom has dementia or I would be running for my life.
Thank you for your time and hope to hear from some of you soon.

Welcome! Post some good photos and details of the items you need assistance with and the good and knowledgeable people here will be more than happy to assist! One word of caution - most people will not hazard a statement of value because values vary so much depending on location, condition, venue, etc. But checking values of SOLD like items on eBay is a fair way of getting an "on-line" value.

Again, Welcome to our little world, and so sorry to hear about your mum.

Welcome! It's so tough to be in your position. I've been there myself. But as already mentioned, there are lots of knowledgeable and supportive folks here to give you advice and counsel.

Welcome and we cant wait to see your treasures. I always find it ironic that my 74 year old mother is the minimalist and IM the collector!

You can even do kind of a panoramic photo of several pieces at once -- we might say, let's have a close-up of this one or that one.
