There is enough embroidery floss here to make a "Volkswagen Bus Cozy" if you can find a piece of fabric large enough .......

10 boxes of taupe colored (close up photo taken on white printer paper) Linen 80 floss.

Two dozen 8 yd skeins in each box
That is 1920 yards
or 5760 feet
or 69,120 inches
or just over ONE MILE of embroidery floss
all the same color
that is either PRICELESS or USELESS....you decide.

PLEASE note - I have not counted the contents of each box to ensure that there are still 24 skeins in each, but a casual visual inspection
leads me to believe that all are present and accounted for.

The boxes are slightly brittle, show age and handling/shelf wear but are intact and have no water damage.

Well, how in the world did that happen? It MUST be the site, as I never would have made that error of omission! Time for more meds..........

 

This would be great for something monochromatic, covered in satin stitch... but not for me.
