    Hi,

I'm trying to figure out the history of these two desk. One is an antique secretary desk that might be a reproduction, the other is an antique library desk built by The Centennial School Supply Co based in Denver, Colorado.

Any information on these desks would be fascinating.

    Thank you for your help!

    Maria

First is a reproduction simplified Chippendale style drop front desk or ladies secretary. Hard to tell age as these were made forever. Most likely 20s-40s. Usually mahogany but can't tell the wood from your pics. Second is commercial furniture in a quasi-mission style (so basic as not to have any identifiable style at all). Wood is oak. Probably teens though 50s. Made a lot of years without much change. Style of the lock keyhole suggests earlier in this range rather than later.

Unless for an artistic effect never, ever photograph something towards a light source.
