Ww1 - identify

    Hi all, I am trying to source info on these water tanks. I was told they were carried by pack horses in the early 1900's to WW1

    Hi Karma, I found this ABC Rural article headlined: "Centenary of Gallipoli has the skills of a saddler in southern NSW much sought after." (He was making replica kit.)     The replica guy took some shortcuts, looking at op's originals, which have the bands riveted on. Maybe he wasn't able to find any originals. I've never seen any until now.
