Wanted: Brides bowl insert for my Pairpoint S/P Basket

    This Brides basket really needs an insert. If someone has one that will fit cheap enough for me or for Trade i would greatly appreciate it. Inside measurement of my basket is 8" across.

    You might find a bowl that would fit, but that's an 1880s-90s cake basket - it never had a liner (the reason it's engraved on the interior)...

    Maybe just a fancy plate then because the plating around the engraving is really badly worn.

    Hi Mikey,
    I would try and find a transparent red plate like Anchor Hockings royal ruby or Moondrops. Heck a cobalt blue would look great also. It would help hide the wear but let the engraving show. If you did not want the engraving to show a Creamex plate would look nice too. JHMO

    Imperial made an 8" Candlewick salad plate that might look nice : )
