Holy Ku'ran? book and Locket Help

Could someone tell me what i have and is it something i should sell together or individually. They don't look that old but who knows.
The book is 3 1/4" x 2 1/2" with tons of pages. and the no 39 on the end piece.

I would think that the locket contains a certain prayer(s) so in that regard they would go together...but in terms of age and other important details I think it would be most beneficial to have someone that can read/decipher arabic.
I suppose it would be similar with Bibles? Is there something special to look for to determine the value of such a tome? Personally, I have no idea.

114 chapters

The Quran consists of 114 chapters of varying lengths, each known as a sūrah. Chapters are classified as Meccan or Medinan, depending on whether the verses were revealed before or after the migration of Muhammad to the city of Medina.

Then when I asked how many books were in the Quran, it said 5 and then it said 4 and then it said there are 3 main holy books in the world.....

So, with all that in mind, it may be that #39 is part of the Arabic Encyclopedia Britannica.

 

It is a tawiz (also taweez), so perhaps of interest to anyone who would also be interested in the Quran, but I see no reason they would have to be kept together.

 

The taweez contains the name of Allah, white on green. Green is the colour of Islam.
On the outside is beautiful classic calligraphy of the most important Islamic phrase: “Bismillah al Rahman al Rahim”, In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful.

Thank you all very much and welcom back Bronwen. I looked up Taweez and found a lot of barrel shaped pendants. not like this? And the book is a Quran but what is the 39? I have lots of time. Apparently not going anywhere real soon.
