3 EAPG Bowls

    Have three EAPG bowls I was wondering is someone could help me identify.

    1. Bowl measures 10" in diameter and is 2 1/4" deep.

    2. Bowl measures 8" in diameter and is 3 1/2" deep.

    3. Bowl measures 10 1/2" in diameter and is 3" dep.

    how do you DO that??? Is all of this knowledge "in your head"? I don't believe that you had the time to look each of those up in a book, so I have to assume that it is.................astounding!

    you're welcome. It's mostly like I've seen it before sometimes and have to remember the major motif to look up and confirm the pattern info. I use EPAGpatterns mostly as I'm graphic oriented; the photos and category by motif make it easier for me to review fairly quickly. McCain's book is similar; but those tiny drawings and flipping pages takes longer.

    Also, Higbee was reproduced and sold by LG Wright.

    Nice bowls...!

    Fun fact....before the turn of the century, the Haida Indians of the Pacific Northwest went thru a period where their traditional Argillite carvings were modeled after traditional European household items.

    Round platters were made for the tourist market with designs that had nothing to do with the native culture or way of life.

    Your glass brings to mind..............
