Japanese? Bottle vase

    I thought this vase was really pretty. Also a very unique design at least as far as my experience goes. Japanese or Chinese? How would the style be described? Age? Mid century? Help always appreciated!     Great! Originally I thought it may be early 20th then I had a change of heart and thought it may be a bit newer. Older than I considered! Any idea what the overall style would be called?
