The words look like love me ande I be, or I ye, or love me and eive, there is a medieval seal matrix on UK detector finds website with the same wording but the exact words & meaning is uncertain. It's silver and just marked SILV on the back, it has a safety clasp so was made at some point in the 20th century....and that's all I know about it sadly.

Just wondering if anyone can help with either the wording or finding a rough date? Thank you :) PICT0008.JPG PICT0009.JPG

It's pretty new, probably some time in the last 30 years. I think it's a He loves me, he loves me not daisy, from what I can read. Odds are it was a museum store souvenir.

I see "Love Me" on every other scallop/curve. The othe scallops all seem to have "Anoe & Me." At first I thought it was the word for love in Spanish (Amor) or French (Amour) but neither of these. I wonder if Anoe & Me is meant for 2 people??? Nowwww I'm certainly not sure of the Anoe & Me, but am sure 3 of the scallops/curves have "Love Me" and the other 3 curves have the same Anoe & Me or whatever it is. Following are some edited versions of the sections.

One of the wordings looks like ande rather than anoe, ande translates into mind, spirit, genie etc in Swedish

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Anoe is definitely considered a first name (as well as a last name)............so, probably meant as some sort of love token???

Lots of ideas there, thank you all for your help. I agree it's not particularly old, I was thinking around 1970s-80s so good confirmation for me there.

The lettering does look different when zoomed like that, so more to consider! Thanks again :)
