    Hi,
    Here in the US we usually do not make the upswing on the 1. The cross on the seven is usually done by medical people. I think your artist is European.

    The numbers are definitely European, probably continental. It may have been done in the US for all I'd know however; my area has tons of immigrants from all over the world.
