I've looked at that "R" place. I went "on-line" to fancy thing called the inter-web or internet or whatever it is called and looked at 342,845 pictures of Clarice Cliff plates. None had these. No one. Nobody. Zip, zero and zilch. These can't possibly be the only plated made in the history of Clarice Cliff or any other pottery maker. Can you sense my frustration? What say you, kind friends? I'll gladly pay you a nickel Tuesday for a pattern identification, today ;)

Whatever the name, they are not what Cliff hangers seem to want today. Way too 'pretty'.

I confess I wouldnt have thought these Clarice Cliff at first glance,I guess I assumed her thing was all the art deco geometrics . They are very pretty indeed.

    Vitry, I sense your frustration!

This was the only thing I found that was close (tho not the same.) It's from an old eBay listing, and there's no good link with info available.

    The only i.d. given was:

Wow, interesting. Same flower but different edge design.

These are the post-WWII designs, or one of them. It's only collectible here in the US, since Clarice Cliff of any kind is harder to find. She and the other good Deco designers had to switch gears when styles changed.

What Ruth said. Late 1940s and into the 50s. She didn't even design them, they just used her name on them.

...only don't ask me how I know that. Too many years on the Web, most likely; I don't even collect pottery.
