Pansy Pitcher

Hello its me again looking for help. My mom refers to this as a pansy pitcher. It's quite large, I don't have the measurements, but possibly 18" ht. There is also a matching smaller one, maybe 12" ht. Anyone having any info on it? Would be really cool if you did and thanks for the help.

 

Hello, Joel! Nice pitcher! The dark green with some of it airbrushed reminds me of 1930's, good possibility of being made and or decorated in Germany. JMHO

It is always best to have pictures of the bottom of a ceramic item, whether marked or not. I see on your other thread that these items are not close by at the moment.

 

And yes, she calls it a pansy pitcher because those are pansy flowers on it.

 

Yeah I figured that would be helpful. Was hoping someone my recognize it by chance.

The size you are describing would probably make it part of a wash set.

That's a thought, but it does have a smaller matching one.

 

Notice all of these sets have a second smaller pitcher as well.
I'm not sure exactly what all the pieces were used for.
Hopefully one of the other boardies will tell us.
