Davenport pattern & circa?

The anchor mark tells me it's pre-1900 but there's no pattern name visible. I'd also like to know the approximate decade of manufacture.

I bought the platter on the way home today for the equivalent of 10$.

 

So I helped myself and found one of the same pattern somewhere titled "Well and Tree"

but then

345£ (450$) seems like a big asking price though... even for a pair. What do you think?

 

The pattern is "the Villagers". Coysh and Henrywood say it appears to date from the 1820s.

 

Two ebay listings so far have said the pattern can be even as old as 1810's.
And here's one that says 1793-1810:

So, according to this page http://www.thepotteries.org/mark/d/davenport.html the anchor mark would date this platter to 1793-1810 (impressed anchor mark without year-numbers on either side, with DAVENPORT in upper case letters). It's the lowest one of the 1793-1810 bunch on that page.

But, here we have the same version of the mark on a supposed 1820-1830 piece:

These are from "The Dictionary of Blue & White Printed Pottery 1780-1880 Volume 1" by Coysh and Henrywood.

 

Well, 1820's is old enough for 10$.

In my mind I was expecting it to be very late 19th century for some reason. But I guess it's too plain and Georgian in shape for that period.

 

All I can say is that you absolutely can't rely on anything in a listing unless there's a reference given.

 

...and for ten bucks you did well.

 

I'd pay $10 all day long Now I do think the market has fallen as I bought a similar large Staffordshire blue platter at auction in the last year for $20. Mine has some knife marks but not all that long ago I know it would have been much much higher.
