    Hello all,

I was hoping someone could give me information on prices if I wanted to sell some pieces in the future. I have a lot of pallisy game bird series dinner set pieces as you can see in the pictures. I've only been able to find information in pounds or euros on prices but I'm in Australia. Can anyone help me out with what some of these pieces might be worth? There seems to be 8-12 of each dinner set piece plus turreens and milk jugs and a teapot.

Thanks for any help you can give me,
    B

Welcome to the Antique Forums! Following is a link to the Pailssy's Game Series (Birds) being sold on replacements.com.

Their prices will be higher then most other places for they have quite a bit of overhead costs. You say you have only found info on pounds and euros. You can easily convert pounds and euros values to the Australian dollar equivalent on the internet.

... or by just typing the number of pounds equals Australian dollars into the search engine of your browser.

Here are Palissey "Game Series" Birds now and past auctions/sales on eBay to see what or if they actually sold.

Hi Bsan and WELCOME!!!! You might find more members coming along to help! This is a pretty active site, so give it a little time, but Susan usually hits the nail on the head!!!! In the beginning of your post, it sounds like the dinner pieces are yours, but near the end, when you say "there seems to be" it almost sounds like you might be looking to buy......doesn't really matter.....and maybe you haven't looked at it for a while!!!! I DO love the different birds in the middle!!!!! Lovely set!!!!

This is a pattern that will sell best before Thanksgiving, with enough time for the pieces to arrive prior to the big day. BTW, in case you don't know our neighbors to the north celebrate Thanksgiving Columbus Day weekend.

In general serving pieces sell better then place setting pieces. If selling on ebay, people are generally looking for pieces to fill in an existing set versus buying an entire set
