Hi Shirl,
I am 84 years old and have been collecting, selling Vaseline glass since 1964. I have personally handled over 5000 pieces of vaseline glass. Remember the old saying "If it is green it is NOT Vaseline" The same goes for yellow. I agree not to disagree.

I am a little late to the party, but have to say I would class this as Vaseline glass. It was made with U3O8 (yellow cake as the colorant). All makers used slightly different formulas and even each batch might be slightly different. Glass houses were dependent on the purity of their materials, which were slightly different from batch to batch.

I never liked the Vaseline term and much prefer Canary, or plain old yellow. When this older glass was made, they did not know it glowed under UV. They did know that it made glass brighter and more vibrant.

My opinion and we all know about opinions. Stay safe and wash your hands.
