Argentina 24K Gold Plate ?

Discussion in 'Pottery, Glass, and Porcelain' started by Luis Rodriguez, Mar 10, 2020.

  1. I think this is a 24K gold plate from Argentina. Can anyone read the back symbol and help me date it? This was in my mothers storage.

Another way to date Argentinian products is by the mark "Industria Argentina." The country's Merchandise Marking Act dates to 1923 so all goods produced after that date must be marked so. Not useful in dating your piece (since company didn't exist before 1950s) but helpful information in general.
