Murano Glass Fish

    Hi

    I am trying to find out more information about a glass fish that was owned by my parents. I think it is Murano glass but not sure. It is marked on the base, I have attached a couple of photographs any help would be much appreciated.

    Can you rub something dark into that signature? Or do a rubbing of it?

    Can you rub something dark into that signature? Or do a rubbing of it?

    I thought that maybe it said MURANO (???) which would probably just be weird, as a signature...

    It might be initials and Murano. And I've seen "generic" Murano with simply that.

    Second part definitely reads Murano. First part seems to have 4 or five letters and begins with a PO*** ? Maybe another attempt at a better pic focusing on the first part would help.
