The original autographed photo was removed from a 1965 time capsule and currently in possession of The Hampton History Museum.

I wonder how was this print done. Museum souvenir? Or a company was given the rights to make reproductions? Or someone took a picture in the museum and printed it?
The visible image area is about 10" x 8" that is a bit larger than the original Topstar promotional photograph

The print is framed by Michaels. I will take it out of the frame tomorrow to check for more info.
    Meanwhile, any thoughts?

    Thanks

Curious what it looks like out of the frame, what kind of paper, etc. There might be additional info. It clearly is a print of the one that came out of the time capsule, but I couldn't find other copies in a quick search online.

I wouldn't be too put off by the fact that it was "Framed at Michaels". Michael's does framing at a good price and more and more people are using them, even for high end work.

I just mentioned the framer, did not mean they are no good.
Will post more pictures tomorrow when I take the print out of the frame.
Whatever the paper is, it is just a print of original photograph, the signatures are not on the print but in the photo, so I guess a symbolic value.

Wonder what's with the CHKD tag?
The date is just few months ahead from the opening of the capsule. Someone must have put their hands on the original photo and printed it in a single or more examples, for commercial or personal use.

That does not seem a lot of time to leave a time capsule undisturbed. In theory I could have both watched them bury it and a little later, come along and dig it up.

    People are too impatient nowadays.

There is something that I don't understand.
I found the full image of the Daily Press photograph. You can see that the photo is trimmed, there is no topstar logo at the lower right and no "The Beatles" at the lower middle.
What is that supposed to mean? That mine print was done before the original photo was put in the time capsule?

I see a business card of the Hampton History Museum. They should know better not to do that.
    I will emailed them.

The one that came out of the time capsule is obviously a trimmed rendition of yours....look at Paul's siggy.........still very cool!!!!!

Edit: Same thing with George's it looks like......

EDIT AGAIN!!: There's a reflection or something blocking part of George's siggy.....Original time cap trimmed pic....something maroon going on....but HIS siggy is all there......

So, the print was done prior to 1965?

    Few things that bug me.
The paper on my print looks too newish and clean to be from the 60's unless it was very well preserved.
The other thing is that the print was framed or reframed just two months after the cap was opened. Maybe someone had the print for a long time and when saw the news decided to take better care of it?
