Hello, My name is Claudio, and I've just started to collect antique items. I'm not expert, so I've joined this forum in order to get help. Today I bought this Mason's chamber pot, but in my opinion it is a fake item. The mark doesn't match the ones commonly used by Mason's factory. Could you please give me any info about this item? Thanks in advance, Claudio
Hi Claudio, I do not believe it is a fake. I have collected enough Blue Willow to furnish the White House.. I feel you have the real thing in your hands. It is a very nice piece. Since there are only two people on the bridge I feel that it is an older piece. greg
Hello, My doubt is about the shape of the krown in the mark. All the Mason's marks I saw are different. What is your feeling?
It would cost more to fake a Mason's chamber pot than it would be worth. But it looks normal enough to me.
Hi I have this exact chamber Pot and was also worried about the lack of "patent" in the scroll. Would anyone be able to hazard a guess for age?
Primm and Propper, I just took an online ramble thru your shop - it's simply lovely! I saw lots & lots of little pretties I'd enjoy having in my collections. Nice job!
