    Hello everyone,
I’m trying to help a friend learn more about this antique coffeepot she recently inherited. The only information we have is what has been passed on by family members of the previous owner. They believe it is Dutch porcelain and was originally owned by family members in Belgium. They guess the age to be about 200 years, but no clue if that is actually true. Would appreciate any help gathering information about this item!

upload_2020-3-7_18-20-54.jpeg This "Royal Sphink Boch Belgium Sailing Boat" looks correct for the back story. I am looking at the trees, however...and what is that Star that seems to envelop the art? Can we see the other side?

The style is rather aesthetic which would lean to the second half of the 19th C. First guess would be Staffordshire however I've not found a pattern name of "Marines" that matches this pattern. I wonder if there is more information under the label.

I’m curious if there anything under the label as well. We are debating trying to take it off; hesitating a bit just because of the age of the handwriting.
