Antique table age?

    I like the look of this. Thinking of buying it. How old do you think it is? The top looks off to me. Any info is greatly appreciated.

    The top does not appear to be original to the table.

    it has wood worm damage.....they could still be in there 4 all anyone knows..

    I would stay away, it looks like its held together with woodworm holding hands.!

    Yeah, doubts top is original as well, ditto the drawer pull , the feet and that brand new red wash/paint.
    Indeed, and not in an inconspicuous place either, it's front and center.
    Ditto, as would I, the legs have attractive turnings and appear to be 18th century but, there are just to many other issues unless it's very cheap.
