Hello, I've had this chair for a few years now but I know nothing about it. Can someone please fill me in on the style, era and its worth? Thank you so much!

"During the 18th century a profound design movement took place in Wales. It was led by peasant-carpenters who, simply in an effort to create a practical seating option, produced one of the most elegant spindle back chairs of that time. It is known as the 'Welsh Stick Chair' and it's makers are thought to be the forefathers of the Shakers."
I would add Windsor chairs as well.

Decent article that explains these chairs in more detail, kind of an important chair as these things go, they had a profound impact on chair development in general.
Although not as well known as Windsor chairs, Welsh stick chairs have been around since the 12th century so, long time ago.
Recently, there is a revival going on with these chairs and they are making their mark in the marketplace once again as well known chairmakers are featuring them.

Just to state the obvious, yours is recent production in the style, not a period piece (and not antique).
