Help date and identify this chair

I have had this chair for over 50 years, given to me by an antique collecting neighbour. I know nothing about it and wondered how old it is and what the style is called. The original black leather seat cover is still underneath. Thanks so much

 

The basic style is a T-back dining chair from the 1920s or so in oak. It has some slight Queen Anne embellishments with those front legs and the profiled edges on the splat. Here are more typical Queen Anne chairs to compare to. You can see how the style is pared down and simplified in your chair.
