Sterling & Mother Of Pearl Knives

    Wondering if anyone can help me identify maker of these knives. Marked sterling with mother of pearl handles. Measure 6" long with a 3" blade. Hallmarks on the blade. Thanks

    Hard for me to see the marks but they remind me of Landers Frary & Clark, Aetna Works

    Nope. UK, electroplate blades, fruit knives. Probably Sheffield.

    I'd think Harrison Bros. & Howson of Sheffield likely for manufacture of the blades and perhaps entirely (would think those lightweight bolsters could be exempt from hallmarking) - but could also be American or Canadian, Sheffield blades were exported for use here...

    well I guess that scrolling acanthus and bead motif was pretty popular. Here is a picture of Landers Frary & Clark, Aetna Works MOPknives.jpg
