IMG_3494.JPG IMG_3495.JPG IMG_3496.JPG Would like to know if anyone knows what this brass elephant lamp is. What year, what it's worth?

I imagine this is fairly recent decorator piece. Last 20 years or so.

Try a web search and look at Maitland Smith lamps. There are bunches of them, and they're popular.

Does your's have any marks or labels on the bottom?

This is the most similar example to your lamp that I could find quick. A SET OF TWO sold for $450.00 plus a 19 percent "buyer's premium" in July 2015.

No markings on anything, it is 24" tall and weights 13 lb.

Wow lauragarnet, I never would have thought that high a price.

Me either. It's a very popular brand for some reason.

I checked out sold listings on eBay and LiveAuctioneers and asking prices on other high end sites. They sell pretty well. I looked at what they have brand new on the Maitland Smith site, but couldn't find any prices listed.

Horchow and Nieman Marcus carried these lamps. I don't know if they still do but these were expensive when new.
