  1. Hi all

The coin (apologies if this is in the wrong section) I believe is a medallion and has king George and queen Mary on the front. The reverse has the civic centre with the name G.A Waller - Mayor.

    Any help is greatly appreciated

It is a commemorative medallion for the Silver Jubilee. Probably hundreds of cities and towns had these made, they were frequently issued to school children. All pretty common unless you want a specific town, in general they have very little value.

    What AF said, very common.

  4. Thanks for that, I'm not necessarily worried about the value (not looking to sell) I'm just interested as to what they are.

This one may have been on a charm bracelet or a watch fob.

They were issued with a little ring and a red, white and blue ribbon threaded through it so it was like a medal. They usually have that hole.
