Info on old wood chair

    OK....back on track. I'd call that chair 1870s/1880s Victorian Mishmosh. I love the turned arms and legs. Someone took off the original dark finish, probably in the 1970s, and added what's probably polyurethane. If Brad chimes in he'll probably be able to nail it down further.

    I agree with Pat, etc. I suspect the annoyance from eBay, Deep Sea, has invaded.

    Hi,
    I was thinking of the girl/woman troll we had here about 2 yrs go. SHE certainly was confrontational.

    Chair is old and agree with a circa 1880 date. Would probably call this renaissance revival but, as mentioned, has various style elements incorporated. I don't think this is American.
