    Thanks a bunch.
Seems like one of those mystery artists.

QG, offering a little help on translations.

Three paintings by the Polish author Mipoph, all of the 81. Very beautiful and elegant. Perfect wooden frames. 62X62 dimensions including frame. I bought them a failure. Resell them because shifter to my house.

Seems as though the writer translated something to Italian. Polish, maybe, with some grammar or word problems.

    from the ebay one.

Seller comments: "Signed Watercolour "Mipoph 02"showing a view of Venice and its canals (more photos in the ad). This is a painting, which dates from 2002, a unique original, not a copy. A lovely Navy whose dimensions are height 18cm and width 22, 8cm, and with the support of style Canson rigid "extra-fort". " The painter MIPOPH is a contemporary artist who lives in Italy. The table is in perfect condition, it is not framed, you can give the frame of your choice or put it under glass. It is signed Mipoph 02 (for 2002). There is also the signature of the artist on the back of the table."

Type: Watercolor of other photos in the advertisement: Watercolour signed by the artist (original artwork)
Period: 20th century and contemporary authenticity: put Original for sale by artist
    Features: signed

    So, possibly an Italian artist?

I'm guessing a Polish artist now living in Italy.
    #5, I translated from Polish.
    #6, from Italian.

By the way, what do you think is the medium, acrylic paints?

If you're talking to me, Kard, I know as much about art painting materials as I do about tuning up a 2017 Jaguar XE coupe.

But will admit my first thought on Q Girl's #3 post was how bright the colors are.
Similar to the two previous, but much more noticeable.
If that hints at acrylic I'll vote yes.

I bought my Mipoph directly from the artist in 1999 in San Remo, Italy. He showed a bunch of paintings on paper. The one I bought stood out in my opinion and was quite different from the others. I love it and bought it at the asking price that was fair in my opinion.

I asked then how much time it took him to make the painting. He answered honestly that it took him little time because the technique used requires the paint to be still wet when drawing on it. It is a good example that it is not necessarily the amount of time that is put in an art piece that makes its value. It is hanging in my house ever since.

It is really nice to see similar paintings on the web of the same artist even ten years earlier, depicting horses with the same technique. I am curious about the used technique and more of this artists life story and hope he is doing well.
