    I don't have much to add; I am not real familiar with the younger members of Norman Tait's family, and your Tait pole is not by any of the descendants of Eli Tait, and I am quite familiar with that family. But there are other Tait families too.

    (I just got a very rare postcard showing Eli Tait carving; I'd post it in finds but I'd rather not have the image out there. But I only know of one other in existence, in the possession of one of his grand-daughters. And that one is not in good shape......has been torn and taped.)

    Your small mask is especially nice, I'm quite fond of miniature NWC items.
