Hand drawn/colored carriage catalog pages

    have had these hand drawn and colored carriage catalog pages for awhile now. I am being lazy and hope you all can research these and/or give me your insights. I assume late 18th or early 19th century and likely English in origin but this really is a guess. They are done on Reynolds bristol board and have an overlay sheet of Banker's linen. It looks like laid paper but maybe that could be just a watermark. They are definitely hand done because you can see where a compass was used to draw the wheels from the puncture point. The one is uncolored. Another is signed D. P. S. I assume these could be dated by the papers or by the style of the carriages. Any help or thoughts are appreciated!

    For some reason it is posting the pics in reverse order ..... Here are the paper marks.

    THe last pictufre is watermarked laid paper. I'd guess around 1800.

    Thanks SIS! If you dig into it a bit, it says first use anywhere 1883.

    Also found this in a query about maps on this paper:

    ".....the bottom line is that this is machine made paper, made to look like hand made paper."
