Featured Ladles galore. These have to be old.

    yes. burl wood was the wood of choice for these NA spoons.....and the hook is there to hold on to the edge of the bowl so the spoon didn't sink into the liquid.

  3. I don't know if I'm weird but these things smell so good- specifically the one without the hook. It's a sophisticated, rich scent. :)

    I have one similar without the hook from my grandmother, my mom said it was a butter paddle.
