S. Bent & Bros rocking chair

    I apologize for the photos!!!! I know they show up small but I still haven't figured out how to upload them!!!! It never works right from my phone!!!!

    I'm on desk top. They're showing up full size and enlargeable for me.
    So far so good.:)

    This could have been made most any time since they produced similar chairs during their over 130 year run. The style is that of a Boston rocker. The multi-board seat does point to this being 20th century. The extra reinforcing piece at the back and the style of turned spindles also make me think this is not terribly modern. If I had to guess, maybe 1930s or so. Value is very minimal in this condition. Even in good condition, value is not terribly high. These were mass produced, there are a lot still around, and they are not particularly in fashion these days.
