    Would you be kind enough to post a photograph of the back please, including frame? Shot from straight on, if possible. From the Union Jack, an American ship. Someone should be able to identify the class.

    The little fishing boat with the spritsail rig was only popular on the east coast of the states at this time, (late 19thc) not used much of anywhere else, almost everyone else was using gaff or dipping lug rigs on small boats so almost has to be the US east coast.
    (I was a classic wooden boatbuilder for a while:smuggrin:)
