Never have learned much about Majolica if that is what it is. The mark on the bottom of this piece made me feel like it was older. Can anyone ID this pitcher or give me an idea of age? It is about 10" tall.

    TIA, Bryan

Bryan, what color is the inside? Is there a face design on the outside of the spout?

Would more likely call this a Rockingham or Bennington type glaze.

With colors in the glaze try looking at "blended glaze" pieces.

Are there colors in the glaze? All I am seeing are shades of brown. Of course, I am a bit color blind......

There's one in Warman's McCoy book, says J.W. McCoy pitcher in carnelian glaze, 1904-5, marked B.
