Don't have this in front of me right now but it's probably about 3/4" long. The setting is 14k. No other markings besides the 14k.

The only green stone similar that I could find was Amazonite, but I know little about stones.

    Suggestions appreciated.

I know zilch about green stones, so if you can suggest any alternatives would be good.

Thanks for letting me though about it not being amazonite, Holly. :)

Not sure of the stone, but the casting was done by a rank beginner with no experience. There are mold lines, casting flash, overall uneven surfaces and the mounting was designed for a faceted stone not a cab.

I'll check that out. A quick google look shows most stones with a lot more going on in them than mine, but I did find a few that were more "plain" like mine.

Thanks Holly! I knew something didn't look right on it, like not as good a quality as I would have expected, but not being an expert, I couldn't put my finger on just what it was that wasn't up to par.
