That is so satisfying!. Recently I've been going to a Friday antiques and flea market as it's too wet for car boot sales etc. I've been amazed at how nasty some of them are. There is always a group in a little huddle bit**ing about each other. Doesn't want to make me buy. One particularly obnoxious seller said 'They are all £10 hallmarked silver 925 bracelets'
Hmmm, I thought apart from that one that's got a slight gold hue and stamped 375. I was even cheeky enough to offer £8 which he accepted :p:angelic:

Hoo, I've met them like that. Although I also know the ones who pick my brain, then give me huge discounts. Those, I like.

I think the clasp is base metal.

Ah, yes, a lovely but whimpering bracelet.:pompous: Boxes and boxes of them here.:D

Mexican marks with that oval shape are mostly 1930s.:)

I fall prey to whimpering pins myself, especially if they need a minor repair ;)

It is in the Hoard, now. Bracelets appear to be breeding. I have no clue how that happens. Nonononono.

I would hoard this one, too. Something jewel-like or antique/vintage whimpers, I'm all ears. :)

This picture Quirky enlarged does sort of have a possible plated look to it. Also just to the right of the clasp looks like someone may have possibly done a scratch silver test??

I've just reread the sentence I wrote-
Please feel free to rearrange the words into the correct order. I haven't even been drinking :banghead:
Impressed with you all that no one pointed it out :hilarious:.

Never even noticed it, I guess my funny brain automatically rearranged the words. And it got it right this time!:jawdrop: It usually doesn't, and leaves me wondering what the beep was said.:wacky:

I figured it was just Antiquers' forum speak. The meaning without all those extra words.

It's amazing how the brain does that. Even though I've re-read the phrase several times I still have to concentrate to see how muddled I got it.
Only two of the six words were in the right order. There is no hope....
