hey sorry was away for cinema and dinner.......lol they aren't praying rugs. it was used for dinning and living room area.

and about the age, those are actually my friend's legacy from his grandparents (anchestors), it was placed in the house he got. there are so many antique stuff that we have no ideas what to do with them :( the house is from 17th century.

here below is the insider and the fringe side check them out please.....

Thanks for the fringe pictures - they are in awfully good condition for supposedly 100 year old rugs. So good as to make me wonder if your friend was mis-informed about age.

Those pictures, however, do not show enough of the undersides to be useful. Flip the end of each rug over on itself by at least a couple feet so you can take pictures that show more of how it looks under the design. If you can, please include how the side edges are bound as well.

There seem to be some tags attached underneath. Some cleaners and repairers will attach such tags, but they are also seen under "modern" rugs for import. I don't necessarily mean modern as in yesterday, but modern as in the last couple decades or so at least. Your friend should take a close look at those tags to see if any have something printed on them.

Exactly.....that rugs was only use once. The rest of the time those all were storage.

I gathered more info from my friend, apparently his anchestor got some of them from Lebanon (include the rugs I posted), they used it when there were there but for short time cos afterward they moved back to France.

Still lots of work to do I think about all the rugs and the furniture too. I will try to find time to pm you and some people in here to know more.

Today we have to stop cos we have to go back to Paris.

Will try to keep update hehe.

    Thank you
