    Two very different styles though.;)
    The Spanish 'Colonial' (?) chairs are traditional Spanish chairs, the way they have been made in Spain for centuries, with minor changes along the way.
    The French chairs are mid 20th century design, chunky, the way they liked it at the time. Leather and big tacks don't make them from the same tradition. So it is not a matter of then and now in that sense.

    The Spanish are still making those traditional chairs, and they look the same as BTZ's chairs, just newly made. We see them here in Europe all the time.
