A mix of swap-meet finds and online items:

86E00FD7-052B-4AD6-B355-78B386698BCD.jpeg DEFD2DDF-2871-4F71-A861-26C692FA26F4.jpeg This rather handsome (if not fussy) egg shaped candy dish. It says P.N.C.W. on the bottom, haven’t researched yet to see what company this could be. The cobalt glass piece slips out for easy cleaning.

F43C2EFA-3577-457F-885C-3AB7D901B19D.jpeg 5859286B-6C72-4A43-A26F-9EA465712A45.jpeg An ashtray made out of what I’m guessing is quartz. Wonderfully heavy.

26FC42AA-BBF6-46C4-A3CA-D18F73CB61AD.jpeg This little cameo pin that requires a little work to stabilize those pearls and keep the shell from sliding around the base. Marked 10k on the back.

00F0FD3D-0F4E-4D17-8EE2-942DF4607DBE.jpeg Marked “STS” and 925. Was excited that the bracelet can slid to adjust to wrist sizes. Stones are all a little different. So far ruled out the quenched cracked quartz, they also don’t look synthetic.

    9C37996A-561D-494A-BA86-B1364CB2D21D.jpeg Small garnet nuggets bracelet

E6EB2D8A-8FE9-460D-B1BC-8C8A4BD5DC89.jpeg A cameo locket. Unfortunately she is cracked but signed and I immensely liked the little compartment encased in glass on the back. I’ll post this one in the cameos thread.

417E4110-5ED2-4E90-AFB0-F03B22F0A990.jpeg 10k gold ring with what I think is a citrine in the middle. Loved the teeny flowers.

42698632-56BA-4E23-BE83-C3775D1107B3.jpeg A bypass ring of seed pearls and turquoise cabs. No marks but positive for 10k.

Got some great postcards today at the stamp show. Don't have time to photograph them tonight so I will try to in the coming days.

It could be tourmaline too, but my fingers are crossed for rubies.

Made by New York based Progress Novelty Casting Works, believe they went out of business in the '60s. The design, which was also 'Made in Japan', was originally produced by Jennings Bros. - they did silverplated as well as gilt like mine, it's packed away but is like this one: https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/jennings-brothers-cobalt-blue-glass-468955326

Some rumours about another table like this in the Taj mahal.....but probably just a myth. The label is only partly intact but is themed to the table. It is a fairly light wood. I would think it be from 20’s or 30’s but I look forward to hearing any possible information on this monkey table. It has spent most of its life in Toronto On.
    Thanks in advance.

Sharing a pic of what I think is a sweet little frisian ceramic vase I bought this past weekend ... I believe the technique is called 'kerfsnee'. Although it's damaged (and repaired), but I had to have it just to figure out what it was.

I completed the dirty messy house clearance today, two days earlier than estimated.
Over the last 5 days I found a few £'ss in old notes and coins here and there totalling £34.

Today I was about to throw a small MDF video cabinet and 10 pre-recorded videos in the skip when I saw an envelope between the tapes.

My bonus, £400 in old £20's was in the envelope.

£434 is not bad for free on top of a weeks wages and a couple of car fulls of collectables.

I have a vase of Dutch “kerfsneewerk.” My Mom and Dad received it for a wedding present. I don’t think she liked it all that much, but I think it’s nice.

Found this Tran Mawicke portrait sketch for $3.99+ and a really sweet old large 19” slag panel lamp shade for $34.99+ both at the thrift on a non-production Monday.

Liberty & Co. sold similar tables in London, imported from Japan, they’re pictured in Daryl Bennett's book on Liberty furniture.
