    I love the shape of the top of the needle packet box, Its a bit different to ones I've seen before.

    I have sold hundreds of lace bobbins. Anything unusual there? Bone amd personalised one fetch the most, plain wood is bottom of the pile but still saleable.

    In the wood, fruitwood trumps ordinary wood. They must have the beads or 'spangles' attached.

    After a cursory search found some art deco buttons, brooches and earrings, and bits of MOP, now I have to find the matching ones.:(

    I wouldn't want to try to make "cream" from that thing up there, though.

    Yup, cream maker. Betterware sold them. Ordinary bobbins go for about a pound each for ordinary, and carded buttons make at least that.

    You have no idea how I am sniggering at soixante neuf jewellery.

    Those buttons would make a good lot in a local sale, they are just right to attract people who like sorting through great piles of stuff they are interested in. I am a bit the same way with heavy tins of mixed coins.

    The cream maker worked by squishing butter and milk.

    af, I agree on the button lot, I know people who'd grab it in a heartbeat.

    I really like what looks to be a green (two-piece) belt clasp in the third photo down from the top in Davey's post #8092.
