Help ID Modern Style Chair

    I picked up this beauty at a garage sale today and like always there are no markings. The seller did say that it was in her father's office around 40 years ago.

    Could we have a look at the bottom? What are those buttons concealing? My gut says 80s Scandinavian but could be wrong.

    Judging by the staple work I'd assume this was reupholstered at some point. I'll work on getting their handy work taken apart since I had planned on re-doing this one anyway. IMG_2657.JPG IMG_2658.JPG IMG_2659.JPG

    Obviously, this was shipped KD and assembled afterward. Tells me it is an import and the 80s date seems about right. Had a bunch of furniture from Yugoslavia that assembled similarly. Looks like it could be beech so that fits as well.
