Hi All...well, I know nothing about most metals...so here I am.
I have had this for years, not sure where I got it. Managed to clean it up enough to photo.
This pitcher is only 2 1/4" H but very heavy. Camera battery just died..but do have 3 pitcher handle.JPG photos for now. Hoping someone can help!

Appears to be "restaurant ware", from a hotel/ship/train/etc. Individual creamer or milk jug, I suppose.

I agree - Volume notation on the bottom is a key to hotelware.

    Thanks...and I assume it is plated..not solid silver...yes?

There may be part of a very faint monogram on front...totally unreadable..or could just be random mark.

So seemingly close, but the link does not go with the pitcher(sic:smuggrin:) anyway...

If you're able to get any kind of picture of the "monogram" on it, we could try.

I think it's very interesting that it says "Made in USAMERICA" on the bottom. Not your usual phrasing.

Meriden B Company (Britannia) did a lot of these. I can't remember if this is one of the older marks from late 19th?

Rainwater gives the range of 1900-1917 for this "Made and Guaranteed By (etc) mark.
