Hmmm, the face seems off to me. I would think it would be much more delicately done if it was indeed from 1898.
I do love that name-Oda Rice!

i was thinking the same thing and when i started to type in the search engine it filled it in automatically which makes me think maybe a dedication doll, but i can find nothing but obits on the name well after 1898.

I'm not at all sure I can bring myself to sell this. She was at Dunkirk, and then a minesweeper. N51B.jpg N51C.jpg N51A.jpg

    Bear,
My Dad did a stint on Mine Sweepers and then stayed on after 45 until the end of 46 clearing French Harbours and the Channel

As well as the normal WWII medals they were awarded a sterling sleeve medal.

Hi everyone, I'm new here & I was gifted this strange 4 cup and saucer set with spiffy box. I thought the colors looked very 70's-esque. The name Imperial with a crown stamped & registered trade mark. Any knowledge or historics would be appreciated. I'm curious where these were made. Imperial 1.jpg Imperial 3.jpg Imperial 2.jpg Cheers!
